Want to try yoga, but not sure where to start? Foundations of Flow is the perfect place to begin! Getting back to basics, focusing on the fundamentals with alignment and ease, this 6 week programme offers a variety of yoga postures (asana), simple yet powerful breathwork (pranayama) with numerous invitations to connect with your body, yourSELF, on a deeper level. When we tap into yoga in western culture, often our first doorway to Yoga is through asana (the physical postures). Yoga is a Sanskrit word which is often translated as 'to yoke' or 'unite', and can be considered a technology for uniting individual consciousness with Universal Consciousness*. It can also help to : Improve overall health and fitness levels Strengthen Stretch De-stress Be In Your Body! Connect with yourself and your community Among countless other benefits. Foundations of Flow is the beginning programme for your evolution in movement, tuning into layers of your physical body, inviting you to meet yourself skilfully on your mat and discover what is possible. The word limit is a bit tight for those fields so do reach out if you would like any clarification. Class size is limited due to location space. *We unpack more of this, adding depth and nuance to our practice, in the Doorways to Yoga programme should you wish to travel further down this path.
Members are able to cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours before the start time. Non-members, please contact us up to 48 hours in advance of your selected workshop in the event you need to cancel or wish to hold your space for the next available workshop. All bookings within 48 hours of the start time become final and non-refundable.
